LESLIE PEACOCK VEST WORKSHOP
Sewing machines were humming and the creative juices were flowing on September 29th & 30th at the Leslie Peacock Workshop hosted by the Pines and Needles chapter of ASG.  Fifteen ladies gathered for the two day workshop to get tips and techniques, lots of encouragement, and the occasional chocolate bar from Leslie, who is an award winning needle artist, and a favorite instructor.  Attendees could make a vest or a jacket during the workshop, and all took advantage of trying out the various tools, techniques, and threads presented by Leslie, who also provided some of her own work as samples for inspiration.  At the end of the second day, most had finished their vest or almost finished.

The completed or almost complete vests.  Don't they look fantastic!  Great designs and colors!

Look at all the details in their original new designs!

Hope you can all see the intricate work, original creativity, and beautiful colors.

A wonderful time was had by all and we can't wait for Leslie to come again!  What incredible talent!!

  1. I had a blast working with all of you. Some of you have shared your finished garments by sending me photos. All I can say is WOW! You've done me proud. I thoroughly enjoyed your two day class and hope you also enjoyed it as well. I felt more like a facilitator than the teacher. You took some suggestions and ran with them. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of working with all of you.

Sew happy to have been invited to spend time with your ASG Chapter.

    Fondly,

    Leslie
